The familiar names, faces, and commitment that you have come to know over the years as the Boys Middle School Lacrosse League (BMSLL) and the Seminole Lacrosse League have joined forces under the 25 year history and brand of Seminole Lacrosse.

Seminole Lacrosse Inc. is a 501c(3) non profit organization that brings a wealth of lacrosse knowledge, experience, and passion for the game of lacrosse to Central Virginia.

Mission:   To provide Central Virginia youth the opportunity to develop their knowledge and love of lacrosse in an organized, respectful, and fun environment that honors the game.
Goals:

• To provide the youth of Central Virginia the opportunity to play and experience lacrosse at all levels.
• To grow and honor the game in our communities.
• To promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect for the game and all its participants, including coaches, officials, and parents.

 
We adhere to US Lacrosse (www.uslacrosse.org) rules, coaching, officiating, parenting, player, and administration guidelines.
Through this effort we are excited to be able to offer:

• The Seminole Boys Lacrosse League (SBLL) a spring lacrosse league for boys grades 3-8 (formerly BMSLL)

 

• Seminole K-2 Co-Ed Developmental League a spring lacrosse League for boys and girls to teach the basics of the game in a fun learning environment

 

• Seminole Select Travel (SST) U9, U11, U13, U15, and HS JV (U17) travel team program (exciting details coming soon!)

 

• Seminole Summer Lacrosse, the program that started it all, for boys 4-17 and girls 6-17, starting its 26^th year this summer!

 

• We are also working on creating some new girls programs (please check our website for updates)

The Seminole Summer Lacrosse League is an organization dedicated to the promotion and development of the great game of lacrosse in the Central Virginia area. Seminole’s goal is to give the youngsters of our area the opportunity to play and experience lacrosse, thus helping the game grow at the high school level.

The Seminole Summer sports an extremely high coach to player ratio, insuring that all participants receive individual attention. Many of Seminole’s coaches are still active players themselves, and have played in Collegiate, Club, and International competition.

Seminole League Lacrosse Clinics:
The purpose of the Seminole League Clinics is to educate and prepare players for participation in the Seminole League. It is for all players with skill levels ranging from beginner to expert. Points of emphasis include fundamentals, stick skills, rules, and fun. It is very important for beginners to attend the clinic before participating in the League.

The Seminole Clinic for boys aged 4-13 will be held June 10 – 13 at Darden Towe Park from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. (Monday – Thursday) For girls ages 5-15, the Clinic will be held June 11-13 at Darden Towe Park from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. (Tuesday through Thursday) Note that the youngest group of girls (aged 4-6) should attend the boy’s clinic.

All participants must be US Lacrosse Members

Seminole Lacrosse League:
For each age group, the Seminole Lacrosse League is meets twice a week. Boys (and girls aged 4-6) practice Monday evenings and girls practice Tuesday evenings. (After a single practice, the Players League plays twice a week.) Every Saturday is game day — as a developmental league, there are no set teams. Coaches select teams just before game time, making a point to maximize parity between the teams.

Note to parents: Since organizing the various squads at game time takes a few minutes, for the sake on maximizing the amount of time your son or daughter will spend on the field, please be sure to arrive 15 minutes before game time! Also, please be sure that they have all required equipment, a mouthguard, and a water bottle.

Boys League:

6:30 - 8:00 Mondays June 17 - July 15

Saturdays June 22 -July 20, Saturday game times vary depending on age group.
4-5 yr olds 8:30 - 10:00
6-7 yr olds 9:00 - 10:30
8 - 9 - 10 yr olds 8:30 - 10:00
11-12-13 yr olds 10:30 - Noon
